Thanks. Yeah, it does have a fractal look to it, but no. Just used a few effects combined and repeated to get it to do this. The idea started out with my messing around with a photo of a red towel. And eventually I arrived at this.

I would like to have a beach towel with that design. It's nice and bright and cheerful. IT would also look nice on a wall, depending on the furnishings.

Maybe even as a mural, outdoors. But this idea started from a photo of a red towel and eventually morphed into this. So printing it on a towel would a neat full circle of the process.

I use a program called Paint.net. It's a free download from some people who have been working on this program. It has a few effects that are pretty interesting, and is a good basic photoediting program as well. If you wanted to check it out just google paintdotnet or paint.net and you'll find it on the first page of results.

I suppose it would look great on a board. But no, I was doing something else with the paint program and then got this idea. It does convey nicely the happy-ness of being out in the surf though.
