Personally, I have no clue. Maybe he could try and find something other than killing lots of people to entertain himself or maybe he could go and try to find himself a girlfriend. Other than that, I have no idea.

The OVA is the original version. The TV animation was done by the studio, the writer of the manga, Hirano didn't worked with them during the making. The TV animation is on the level of a badly written fanfiction compared to the real thing. They totally disfigured the main characters. And I say this even though I saw the TV series first. I loved it. I got aware of the manga only after I saw all 13 episodes. After reading the manga, I just can't take the TV series legit anymore.
