I finally did a cover for the main Doctor Who series! ....and it only took until the very last issue. Yes, sadly, IDW has lost the Doctor Who license. This issue (in stores tomorrow) is the last from the publisher. I drew the cover in the style of the turn-of-the-century dime novels. And it is the only one of my DW covers where I did everything (art/colors/text) myself. Massive, enormous thanks to editors Chris Ryall, Denton Tipton, colorists *CharlieKirchoff and Stephen Downer for making the best job in the world even better.Related content

I'd completely forgot IDW had lost the license. Its a shame but hopefully the next will fill its shoes

Thanks! IDW's run will be a hard act to follow, they already hired the biggest WHO fans in comics, creators with so much love for the series. *sigh* it's a shame to see it end. I hope they announce the new publisher soon.
