Description It was about time to draw Venom, afterall my nick dose include his name Sadly i never read the first Venom vs. Spidey comics. So I imagind this scenario. Pour Spidey beaten half to dead not beeing able to satand on hes own feet and Venom closing in for the final strike. The scan is preatty poor. And the bg ain't to good either. But hope y'all like it.

Great picture as well! like Mr. Smygba already said Venom's body looks a little bit strange but anyway it's a fine work. Keep it up!

Yep I know the feeling, right now i'm studying from Andrew Loomis - Successful Drawing. Just that the book is in pdf format, and my eyes get really fast tyred. But it's a very cool book, that guy sure knows how to draw

Heh thanx How ironic I wanted to do Venom better

On the first problem: The horizon line ain't at the top of the ground spidey s sitting on. It's beneath spideys leg near his hand. U can see a little piont I forgot to erase. Thats the point where al my lines go. I wanted to make an angel where u look just a litle inklined from the bottom up to Spidey. I dont know if it is correct or not.

And on problem 2: yeah I really should start studying some anatomy. I wanted to do that a long time ago, but never got started

The picture is good, with 2 main problems. Spidey is good especially.

Problem 1 - Horizon line. the top of the ground spidey is sitting on is the horizon. Therefore all lines at that height should be horizontal, but you got builing windows facing down.

Problem 2 - VENOM
Big Head
Arms overly foreshortend
Torso extremely wrong! - If hes bending over like that, his chest will obscure his abdomen, and his trapoziods and back muscles would expand out more. possibly have his head thrust down for more action too. Right now Venom has a tripple layered torso. the upper chest, abs obscured bu chest and and incorrect pair of abs that are showing.

Oh, sorry, I misintepreted some of the information in the pic. My apologies.

And I've never studied anatomy in detail, I learnt most of it through watching wrestling. But I'm sure I'd be an even better artist if I knew. If you need books, I can offer Loomis in PDF. I do have other Books like Jack Hamm and George Bridgman, but they're too big to send. The only other anatomy books I have are Chris Hart, who's not very good, and an excellent Fantasy book with an excellent section on anatomy, with picture reference! I also have perspective books, and a few other topics.
