Description
You always need a big guy in your toy lines. Especially in the 90's.
I wanted a big strong guy for the line, but I also wanted him to stand out visually like the original MOTU figures did. I decided to make him a cyborg strongman, split down the middle, to give him a nice "Half and half" look. I figured on blue and gold for the color scheme since that was a nice contrast.
As for his name, I struggled a bit for his name, not being really happy with anything until I again leaned into the "On-The-Nose" naming style of the original MOTU series, and felt that Bash Knuckle fit that history of ridiculousness the original series had.
For his history, Bash was once the leader of a powerful mutant tribe before he was betrayed by his second in command and sentenced to the slave pits. There he'd befriend He-Man who was also captured, and would help his new ally escape. In the process, Bash would be seriously injured, and would be rebuilt into a powerful cyborg by Man-At-Arms.
For his "Play Feature," I saw his figure as being able to wind up his left arm, which would then spin around in a fury after pushing a button on his back.
