This is a very powerful & moving piece - the title says it all. Superlative on all levels: composition, blending, brushwork & concept. THe way you've posed the dog looking up & the child looking out seems to add to a sense of longing & bewilderment.

Wonderful! I like the pose of them in that empty street, staring at a distance, it is adding to the impression of being totally lost in a lost world. Nice detail is the dirt on their skins and the wound. Great job.
