We all live upon the same planet and we are fellow-travelers thereon. Not all of us live in the same world. This sounds like a contradiction, but really it is not when we understand what is meant by “world”. The world we live in includes not only the planet itself but our relationships with our fellow-travelers and our attitude toward all life upon the planet, and these very greatly. This picture was taken at Blenkinsop lake and a lot of people use it every day to travel from home, to school, to work, to the store, and so on. All these places are different worlds in a sense.
