I haven't submitted anything for a while, so I decided to put this old one up. I made it out of popcicle sticks for a french revolution project in tenth grade ^_^;;; Kinda creepy, but still cool ^^Related content

Contrary to popular belief, I'm pretty sure getting killed by a guillotine wasn't that bloody. The speed of the falling blade would pick up heat and, when slicing threw the neck, would close off the blood vessels. Either way, I like this. It's so gory and well made :3

Thanks! However, the average guillotine was about 15 feet tall, that not nearly enough time for friction to heat the blade to cauterizing temperature. Also, only a fraction of the blades surface area touch the sides of the machine, so high heat could not be generated there either. Try dropping a large piece of iron 20 feet, it will not be hot. Until you provide me with a source, then I will assume that blood 5 liters of blood drained/sprayed out of the body when the head was cut. >:}

Yes, but I doubt that it would be cleaned each time. If you had a lot of be-headings in a day, I imagine it would get pretty messy.

Nah, it really was not common to have several, you just have one or two. The people sentenced to death stand in a line and you kill them one by one. Grim XD

Dude! that is so freaken awsome! I would be so proud of myself if I had even come close to makeing that! It looks like blood which gives me a plus side for that effect! Don't let me even get on the topic of how I would allow my memory to wonder away annd think about how the 'blood' effect even got there!

I did the blood effect for fun ^^ when I got done it kind of looked empty ya know? so the blood was fun ^_^ I dipped a straw in different clolors of paint and either blew really hard to make a splatter or let it drip out so the blood looked like it was running ^^ but the cool thing about it is that it really works! the blade isn't sharp of course, but hey use your imagination. ha I could hold minuature executions ^_^

It can't be that big ^^ it *is* made out of popsicle sticks...but yeah..I'd say about a foot long..a bit less..but yeah ^_^
