Originally I was going to show fears from EVERYONE, as they are all trapped in the garden in my versions of events.
Then I realized that doing so would be the entire story all by itself. So I picked characters that I felt would best illustrate the points I was trying to make. I hope that their creators don't find them too ill-used.

Yay! It's off to an exciting start! I'll echo everyone else here and say that you did a great job on the fears. And yes, Rhi is a total badass.

Waaah, I want to see more! You're very good at that, you know. Weaving a story in such a way that people are totally hooked even from the first page. Oh, Rhi, you are totally badass! Oh, so much fangirling, I think I need to sit down *fans self*. Okay, better. Right, the basic deal is, as people have already said, your use of colour is fantastic! The first panel reminds me of all those kiddie fears I still sometimes feel (lulz, I'm such a baby sometimes

Whew! I gave Bendam the worst time, so I was worried about what you'd think. I was really inspired by this piece in your gallery [link] so I decided to do a twist on it for this page. I figured it would be a good combo to completely screw with his head.

The talk on fear was well put-together. Very well put together, and I love how you used other people's characters to show these fears.

I know it's not exactly proper to say in public or in comment for or... anywhere really. But I'm me. So I'm going to say that:
Your comics are orgasmic.
Something that really always catches my eye is your use of color. I love how the first panel/fear story is just red. Red in the background, tinted with red in the foreground. As a vibrant color, it really conveys the raw fear of a child excellently. Then it progresses to the cooler color- the green of the second fear story. It conveys the bitterness, and the less abrupt fear of Bendam. Then you move to the fear of Rhi, subtle, certainly, and the warm and cool colors are swirling everywhere. Like a metaphor describing her fear as a mix between the child and the adult. Yet then she takes those fears and uses them as a weapon, as motivation, and in that moment it's like the color explodes warm and cool. She turns that fear into courage. And, as you described her, she is bad-a.
So... sorry about that. I guess all of that is just a really long way of saying, wonderful job. The last note I wanted to give is that I'm always impressed by the artistic and storytelling devotion you give to any character that crosses your comic's path. And because of that, it would have been amazing to see your view on all the contestants, but at the same time these two represent what you were conveying beautifully.
Excellent work, and I can't wait to see the rest of your round.

I like how much smarter you make me sound in your description. I just used those colors because I liked them.
I wish I could have the time to spend on everyone, because I have lists and lists of fears and how they would manifest for each person. Alas, editing room floor...There's a LOT on that floor from this round, actually. I'll have to state all the things that DIDN'T make it in at the end.

It would have been awesome to see all of those fears, but yeah, that would have taken up a lot of comic time. Besides, I love what you have as is.

I think total badass is an adequate description. I admit, I was expecting more in the vein of tiny unreadable words. Tsk, I should know better. Rhiannon and demons... yeah. They have history.
Bendam without hair would be so much more heartrending if he wasn't such a cat. Now I can only think of Dr. Evil's cat after cryogenics took all the hair off. Thanks a lot, animal kingdom.
