Description
Vaughn was initially a low-ranking accountant for Hyperion, though he and his best friend Rhys had aspirations. Over the course of Tales, though, he becomes a bandit lord, the leader of the Children of Helios, later renamed the Helios Hellions (the original name sounded too much like a cult). However, the Dahl Colonel Hector wiped out his clan, leaving him to start fresh. He tried to start another clan, the Vaughnguard, but that failed before it began. He later became leader of the Sun Smashers, but they betrayed him to the Children of the Vault. They had found the Vault Map and Vic, his subordinate, decided to turn the map over to the Calypso Twins. However, as they had no plans of joining the COV, the Sun Smashers were wiped out. However, Vic was decapitated and had her head stored in a jar where she was tortured through virtual reality. Vaughn has since decided to aid the Crimson Raiders in whatever way he can.
