Description
Despite the name, Toxmen are not Robot Masters, but mass-produced robots that were originally intended to deal with hazardous environments and toxic waste. However, after coming under the control of Wily and CRORQ, they were modified into combat robots, given a gun that can spray toxic gas, which can also harm robots due to being acidic.

Toxman is not the only enemy whose name sounds similar to that of a Robot Master. Shotman and Pickman are also examples of this.
