Commander Cassandra Carlton "Cassie" Cage (that's a lot of Cs!), daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage and the one responsible for beating Shinnok. She's got her mother's hair, face, and figure and her father's shades, sharp wit, and cocky attitude. Even though Johnny's her dad, there are times where he annoys her, but she still loves him, something else she shares with her mother. Cassie and Jacqui grew up together, and they are part of a team of younger heroes alongside Kung Lao's nephew, Kung Jin, and Kenshi's son Takeda. Like her father, she possesses shadow abilities, though she wouldn't achieve mastery of them until she encountered Shinnok. While she does have a rather brash attitude, she doesn't kill unless necessary, and she respects her elders and masters, such as Kuai Liang. Cassie is, however, a somewhat spoiled millennial, enjoying the trends and technologies of her generation, such as iPods, social media, and smartphones. In fact, she tends to take selfies, sometimes even in combat!
