My wife was doing the makeup thang as I walked past. I saw the shot, snuck at a zillion miles an hour to grab my camera, snuck around the corner and grabbed the shot... VERY cool. Film was a 3200 b+w and what you see came straight out of the camera with little or no levels in photoshop. Little or no photoshop at all actually! I'm So excited. Usually I need to photoshop to death to get what I'm after... It's very rare for me to get it straight out of cam like this.Related content

Great shot. You used the mirror as a wonderfully focus-element. It's a style to work with. Hope to see more anytime.

This is a very good picture...esp the idea you were trying to achieve. Being a photographer who is totally obsessed with symmetry, the only thing I would have suggested was to adjust the picture in photoshop so that the frame of the mirror is more perfectly lined up with the frame of the full photo (you got it very very close, but its just a tiiiiiny bit off 
Just something that was sticking out at me when I was looking at it.

it's pretty spontaneous... she caught a glimpse of me, you can see her eye wandering to the lense... almost making sense of it all almost.

I like the levels of focus .... sharpe eye and then soft focus
