Blubondage & myself are trying to put together a movie re-creating the Autotape theme. It's proving to be pretty difficult so far but we're hoping to have a result in the next few weeks !

You really know how to nail down a pose so it looks dynamic and actually in motion. Not easy, especially if you're dealing with DiD artwork...Do you have any tricks or special rules you follow for that? Because I fail every time I attempt that...

Not really, unfortunately. Other than practice, you just have to take a lot of cues from other artists. Check out some of John Howe's work from LOTR. That's kinda where I got it from.

I guess you're right on that one. Anyway, I'll just stare at pictures I like until I figure out what makes them work and how I can achieve the same effect - and keep practicing. It'll have to help eventually...

Also try looking up some of Stan Lee's drawing the Marvel way videos on youtube. They helped me with more dynamic poses and perspective.

as I said on other pic, your best is how good you are on doing pics really "in movement", so fluid and like serious a picture of a person who is actually moving.
