¿Qué es esto? ¿¡Un fondo!? ¡Sí! ¡Wooow!
La idea era mostrar un poco más del mundo en que Rice y Salt viven (vivía, en su caso ). El cielo es amarillo cuando está soleado, y en primavera los campos se cubren de flores rojas, que Almendra creó para adornar el lugar (no son rosas). Creo que es la primera vez en la vida que pinto un fondo así con lápices… No está tan mal. Traté de darle un toque más suave al entintado.
Rice y Salt solían salir de picnic, y aprovechar el paisaje para relajarse y pasar un buen rato juntos.

The idea was to show some more about the world where Rice and Salt live (or used to live, in her case ). The sky is yellow when it’s sunny, and in spring the fields are covered with red flowers, that Almendra created to decorate the place (it’s not roses). I think it’s the first time ever I draw this kind of background with colored pencils… It’s not so bad. I tried to give a more soft touch to the lineart.
Rice and Salt used to go out on picnics, and take advantage of the landscape to relax and have a good time together.
