Hmm... you know, that brings up something. People try to pair other random chicks up with Gaara because they don't like her, even with knowing that Matsuri obviously likes him, therefor making her his best bet of a hook up. They say Gaara needs a "cute" girl, but they don't even refer to Matsuri as "cute". They say Gaara should be with the Mizukage instead... what, because she has huge boobs (that are most likely larger than Tsunade's)? To me, the Mizukage has the appearance of a prostitute. I mean, don't get me wrong, she IS pretty, but Gaara doesn't /need/ that kind of pretty. I get this vibe from him, that he's more laid-back and sophisticated than that, and maybe having a more "average" girl would be enough to satisfy him. :/

Well, most fangirls aren't happy with their appearance, so they enjoy picking on those that look how they wish to be. That's usually how it works between two real people too... so does this mean that these fangirls are treating the characters they are bashing as if they were real, and it's okay to do this? I mean, I know some voice actors that are like "I wish I had my character's body" or "my character was hot when he/she was 14, and I wish I was like that", so it's obvious that THEY have no issue with whether their character acts like a butt or not. :c
I like Matsuri, though, because she reminds me of myself. Not just because she likes Gaara, but also because of the way she looks and used to be. I think Matsuri looks like me, from before I started to dye my hair (it's a dark red now), and when she was really shy and paranoid of the world... that was like me too. Only thing is, she's not so shy or paranoid anymore, but I still am. xD;
And yeah, Mei really is pretty. But still... I dunno. I wouldn't say slutty. Just... TOO pretty. ;;
