As I said- I love Steven Universe!I love the art style/ colour palettes, the clever music, the characters- the story- jeez, that story...! -they're all brilliant!
Haven't been this hyped up for something in a loooong time~
Have to say I find Pearl to be the most relatable to me personally... I'm kind of a cautious perfectionist too so that makes sense~ Right from the first episode I was quite taken with her~ ^//^;
I know she's not too proud of herself at the moment, I was a little angry too- more worried though I guess-
But! I have faith in you Pearl! Do us proud, tonight! (Stevenbomb, no-one was ready for Stevenbomb~~ ><
Aaaanyway, a few people suggested that I try drawing the gems in my style (i've mainly been trying to emulate the show's style~) and I really wanted to try it out- couldn't decide who to draw so I just did a doodle sheet to test- Really like how Rose and Amethyst turned out, but let me know what you guys think~
I'm meant to be finishing of some gem-sonas for some friends of mine... and mine of course! -gonna get back to that now XD

Oh man, Steven Universe is such a great show. I think Pearl is one of my favorites too, but damn is she thirsty. As much as I love her, there are moments where you just want to pap her.
I really do love how SU develops their characters--major and minor--and watching them all grow as the series progresses. They don't leave characters alone for too long.
Pearl and Rose look just lovely in your style. You did a good job on the flowing movement and shading here!

I bet she has a lot. xD She's quite helpless in combat, but actually has a lot of other capabilities due to having all those machines and robots to make up for it. She's a dork, but that's why I like her. XD
So, was she the one who forcefully fused the fallen crystal gems? That scene was kinda creepy with all those mismatched body parts. It even creeped Garnet out! But I guess forcefully fusing gems did cross the line.
Do you think she's going to redeem herself in future episodes?

Oh yeah, I just watched the "Friend Ship" episode, and she was really funny in it. xD Oh Peridot, Peridot. I wanna hug her.
I googled that and found that Peridot's job was to "check on" them, so maybe it wasn't her who actually created them in the first place. :-/
There's a camp of people who thought she was irredeemable after the thing with the hideous fusions, but I still believe she'll come around. XD Someone wrote on the internet that they'd only give up hope on a character if Steven does, and so far Steven's still being nice to her, which is good. XD

Yeah, some people in the fanbase gave her mom status. <_< i don't see it. They think that she and Peridot will reform and such. (They even gave lapis mom status...which i kinda can see cause she made a big sacrafice for steven in a sense.)
it can't. I mean, i know pearl said that steven is organic, but due to him being a gem, how will he age as he gets older? Will he age as normal or will he out live his friends?
