Their whiskers can sense slight changes in the weather. Their body is extremely adept at adapting to any weather pattern.

The following comments and pokedex entree are suggestions and ideas that are free to be used or rejected for the enrichment of this fakemon.
I like the name Glazel. With pokemon you can use the hybrid nature to your advantage by giving a name reference to one species and the species to another. Since it is of a rodent species it can take lenience and have the species be another species of influence such as a mouse or ferret. Since otter and weasel are used as species it is less original but that shouldn't necessarily hinder your creation. You could also mention as another like species in the next stage.
With this fakemon I got the great thought of "What if the next stage was like a Ferret / Arctic fox hybrid." Sort of like a sleek really fluffy soft semi-aquatic otter. It would make the second stage like a highly prized ice pokemon. If you want I can make a glimpse pokedex entree of such a fakemon.
Name - Glaizel (Glaicer-Weasel)
Species - Snow Mouse
Type - Ice
Poke'dex Entrees
- Their natural physic allows them to almost swim through snow or ice like they do in water.
- They burrow out dens in mounds of ice or mountains in frigid regions.
- Prolonged living in warm climates they will shed their fur having it turn brown.

i use the oekaki chibi paint program. basically, i create a new layer for shading, then turn the opacity down to about 40 or 45. i use dark blue to shade. then i take the eraser with the opacitiy also turned down, and slightly erase the edges to blend them.

Thank you! : D I was just curious because I was trying to look up how to do the pokemon official style shading, but every time I tried to do it, it doesn't look right. You do it really really well and I would say different than other people who try to do that shading. Yours has its own personality to it that makes it different from everyone elses.
