we've shared, spread
upon the sleeves
our hearts infect
in contagious escape.

A yawn, akin to
deprived sleep
from the waking hours
which we are yet
to share in tame nightmare
& escape to
within our wildest daydreams.

A sigh; akin to
the bitter & sweet
we've shared, only to
relieve escape.
