For 's contest: [link] I'm more partial to the retro scifi look, but I wanted to do something a little against the grain, so I went with this sort of new-agey approach, and I think I learned that I'm just gonna stick to ray guns and jet packs in the future.

It may be obvious this was inspired by Darren Aronofsky's "The Fountain." Rather than draw a girl with a fishbowl on her head, she's in a giant fishbowl.

I somewhat optimistically added the number one to the title here because I hope to do a second entry that's a little less boring.
