Description a request made by ~Jazzman1989 when i was looking for ideas

fractal manipulation created using fractals rendered in apophysis and edited together in photoshop.
the goldfish bowl i nabbed from an older piece of my work some of the other pieces (including the fish shapes) can be found in my fractal stock folder.

thankyou for the compliment on the style - its sort of one i've devised in my experimenting with fractals and photoshop and one i have taught a few of my friends its really surprised me as to how well my work has been received and this DD is once again a really high point of that.
yes its very typical of cats i have one who is at present actually curled up on my bookshelf (thankfully no fish there and shes tabby not black )

Hehe, maybe you do your cat a favor and let her watch a digital aquarium or sea life on your tv. My older cat enjoyed it, she wanted to catch the fish and did not get wet. She already got wet, when we forgot to close correctly our real aquarium ...

one time we were watching a nature program on birds and we had to stop because we couldn't watch it as the cat kept pouncing at the screen and getting in the way trying to chase the birds

Very interesting work. I love the effects-- just the details on the leaves and the book pages pop. It's simple, but then close up ,I noticed more than in my first glance.Congrats on the DD

thankyou for the compliment i think its one of those pieces that is simple in its overall idea but then when you take a closer look as you say more of the details stand out - all the separate pieces of fractal used in it have so many different textures and i try to use them to create areas of interest as well as overall - i love my details thankyou again

there are loads of fractal pieces here on dA i just choose to tackle fractals in a different way to most.

there are a couple similar you might have ed the one with the 'witch cats' and no. no fractal filter used at all - just fractals and pieces of fractals rendered in apophysis then put together bit by bit using photoshop.

yes, very good memory... you are correct it was "witch cats" - I checked... anyway I love all your cats ... seems like very painstaking work, working with many small pieces to get such cool final images!!!!

thats new usually i can't remember anything!
it can be a little painstaking as it were at times but like everything else if you have a good shape or set of shapes together you save them to use again save making them all from scratch every time - then later efforts don't take quite as long to make.
if you get tempted the basic cat shape i used in this is in my stock folder now why not try out something with it

I've never tried anything using any kind of stock & I realize how different it is from simply using filters/effects on fractals... it seems very scary to me... but I all the wonderful stock available from you and all of DA... I'm starting to think, plan and let inspiratiion guide me... the last thing I want to do is make something just thrown together with different stocks or whatever... it needs to be thought out... one day... YES, I will...

basically i can only comment with my own stock - its rare i use someone elses basically i just use the image in a photoshop or GIMP new document and piece together my fractals occasionally throwing in some texture stock as well
well a chance for you to play with something like that might well be coming up soon - i'm planning a contest

thankyou so much for the compliment on this it was a fun piece to assemble not to mention as ^DragonWinter who suggested/featured it today said you can see a lot how i've developed using this style from an older manipulation of mine just titled 'Tabby...' which was the first kitty i created in this style ( and also my first DD)
