lol its used for creating visual poetry. say you have a nice bit of poetry and you want to make it look pretty - you can download a template such as this and put your words onto it

thankyou for the compliment and the image at the bottom was created using apophysis and then edited in photoshop. - ther is a link to the original image in the artist comments.
