thankyou I'm enjoying creating the sort of whimsy in these works with the bold blocky shapes at the moment - possibly because my latest tattoo design i am working on is anything but simple

thankyou kindly  my latest work (some tattoo designs) are overly complicated so i was really enjpoying tinkering with fractals in these wonderful blocky shapes

Had a very nice Easter break, just chilling.  Got a four day weekend starting tomorrow too - we have the Tour de Yorkshire starting in Bridlington and ending in Scarborough - traffic jams and rolling road closures - so took the day off.

Glad to hear it I saw all the signs for the tour de yorkshire when i was up in Whitby  made  me smile to see all the flags and the painted bycycles they put on the route although i bet it really is a nightmare for getting anywhere with the road closures - we had a marathon in Birmingham last weekend  so trying to get to work was pesky - had to wait for gaps in the runners and sort of dart across the road fast before more came.

Well, it was okay for me, I went out early to do the shopping before the hordes starting arriving. My brother had to leave work early to make sure he got to his dialysis treatment in time - they closed off the ring road so he had to come back into town a different way and said the place way full of people and cars.  The race was close to starting at this time.  

Oh well, it's over for another year.

it sounds to me like one of those good ideas that wasn't perhaps thought out as clear as it could have been. but at least it is only once a year

thankyou for the compliment   and you gotta love  the 'patterny things' it makes the entire image look a little less flat and gives it a little whimsy
