This is very tastefully delicate, neither too much nor too little.

I like it.

thankyou for the compliment it was a tricky balance to get - in truth i was half tempted to bring out some of the colours a lot more but it began to loose its 'moth like' quality so i settled for the subdued tones, granted it might not be as eye catching in such a way but certainly for this piece the understated works

It is understated, and doesn't jump out at me...although it did kinda jump out at me in your gallery for this reason!

But it wouldn't work with brighter colors, and you were right to see that.

probably stood out as a lot of my fractal manipulations/collages usually are a lot brighter - it failed epically in bright shades - although i am working on an edit of this on a pale backgound in blacks and reds - i forgot what the moths are called but tehy are near all black but have red underwings - i'm seeing hwo that might translate visually

thankyou it might not be as bright as a lot of my work - but its certainly still got some effect to it ( and its another use of some of my fractal stock images) i used the leaves in a different colour to make the wings

thankyou for the compliment it was going to be a butterfly but after some thinking it just looked more of a moth shape to me so i went along that route
