here's something I've been working on for school! this is for my Design I class. the project was to create 4 tarot cards (and a design for the back) following a certain theme. we got to choose our own media too, so I chose digital since it's what I'm best at. for my theme I chose pirates xD it was fun to research different types of pirate clothing and pirate ships and stuff like that~~

so here's the finished result! it took sooooo long to make them. coming up with ideas was probably the hardest part. (along with drawing that girl. ahhh I'm not so good at drawing girls...) BUT I'm very pleased with the result. (:

Yay for the new generation of designers! And you definitely have the advantage since you can do your own illustrations. I'm already jealous. I remember my very first design assignment we had to make a logo for an already existing restaurant. I was so fail at it since I had never opened an Adobe program in my life. But to let you know, some of the best designers who were in my graduating class didn't have anything near as good with their first projects compared to this wonderful work, so I can only imagine what on earth you'll be doing as times passes.
