Well. Last night Kayley took it upon herself to go and try and eat a baby skunk that was stupid enough to make its way into our yard. The little thing was spunky enough to spray her in the face and try and fight back. Me my bro and our neighbor were cheering it on. XD Sadly though this morning it passed away probably from internal bleeding from Kayley biting and smashing it. Bc Stupid dog...EDIT: Omg thank you all so much for all the favs! Ever since this was put in that Skunk Group thing I've been getting favs on it left and right. Thank you all soooo much that fav and comment it means a lot!

One of my dogs once tried to eat an entire family of (mostly baby) rabbits, so I know those feels :'D

We get a lot of wildlife in our yard, because my house is in the middle of the woods, but most of the time they are in their kennels. It was just bad timing for me x.x
Did you have to bathe your dog in tomato juice or special shampoo to get the spray smell out of her fur?

Actually in our experience tomato juice has never seemed to work. Right after it happen my mom looked up recipes for it and found one that was just baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. She mixed it up and used it pretty much right away and it took the smell out completely.

We don't really have many skunks where I live (I've only seen two before, and this is coming from a person who has bears in her front yard on a weekly basis). But if one of my dogs ever crosses one I'll be sure to ask for that recipe!
