"Good to see you again Rokkuman" - Gutsman

"....What have they done to you?"- Rockman

Ok, so I lied about no plans for it. I decided to clean it up, as for coloring, maybe! I was considering holding a contest of whoever colors it the best I'll buy em a Rockman official complete works of their choosing but since I am not popular enough to accomplish that, well see what happens. If I get enough people wanting to do it ill make it either a week or month long contest, more like a month cause I realize people have lives!

Now onto the drawing, I got the idea after I saw that Toru Nakayama drawing of Rock, Blues, Roll, & Beat. As you might have noticed Gutsman is the one in Rockman 7 (which happens to be my favorite one of the series) this also started out as a very sketchy drawing (which I now moved to my scraps, ill post a link at the bottom of this description so you can get to it without hunting it down) and after I submitted it I figured why not clean it up? So I did and in the process I changed and added a few things.

Most of the changes were actually on Gutsman himself, the only thing I changed in the background was i got rid of the mine cart and track, I felt it didnt fit. I changed up the claw to actually be able to close and fit together, I also changed that stripe on his head to a more aztek patter to more fit the RMZ style. I also added a collar type thing around his neck to also fit this style. When I did the shoulder I had to go over it so many times, I'm also kinda pissed that I had to cover a lot of that work with the claw base. That * on his shoulder is actually raised up like the ones on Tretista Kelverian due to the fact that he resembled Gutsman in several ways, so I had to make that which was a little task as well you can see the full shoulder in my scraps. Finally I added something that I felt was fitting. It seemed the shoulder was missing something so decided to add the number 4.

This was all done in Photoshop CS5 with the pen tool. I used tons of reference pics from actual Capcom Concept art and Official art by accessing the Megaman Network Art Gallery.
