This took me around three days to complete, and I'm sure that there's some little thing I missed in doing it. See it, let me know.

Originally, I had the piece nearly halfway done, but I noticed too many errors (and I had already merged the layers), so I essentially started from scratch again. Luckily, I could just trace over the linework. and while the background may not be anything special (I was sort of reliant on the brick textures I downloaded), I think, overall, it turned out decently.

Anyhow, while this doesn't exactly happen per se in canon, yet after seeing Kefka, Edgar invites everyone down for dinner, which includes getting Locke and Terra out of their travel wear. Here, the Matron is fitting Terra with some clothes, the 'finest of Figaro's fashion' as she says. Though, if she had to be honest, she thinks Terra looks better in red.

I'll admit that I drew this solely because I wanted to play dress-up with Terra. She's such a beautiful young woman, and while I love her usual attire, I also like the other outfits she has, especially those in Dissidia (which this outfit is based on). While it's non-canon (yet that thing's been something that rarely stops me), the doujinshi Figaro no Kekkon: Tales from the Desert says that Figaro has a history of the royal family being born with blue eyes. And seeing Edgar and Sabin wear blue (and I admit, it's a bit of a stretch), I headcanon that blue is Figaro's national color and this seeps into people's fashion. Green is a close second though. Yet some, like the Matron, find other dyes to be just as beautiful, if not more so. She has an affinity for red and thinks that Terra would look much better in it as well. Thus, she starts preparing another outfit for her for tomorrow.

I may have to do a FF6 adaptation. It's my favorite FF game, and has my favorite protagonist, villain, side characters, etc. Yet I've got other stuff I'm doing. It never ends.
