Here it is! Finally!Though this thing sorta ties in with Black Convergence, it can be viewed as it's own thing as well.
Personally, I feel that Maria, while she was grateful to her grandfather, was not happy on the Ark. Being that she wanted to go to Earth so badly, it would probably be like a prison for her. Also, being that Shadow was born to help with her disease (though the true purpose is far more nefarious), she feels guilty that such a burden's been put on him and thinks he should be what he wants to be. Plus, she's smaller, but she's definitely not going to let Doom push her around.

I dunno, the ARK may be all she's known, so even though she yearns to see more it musn't be easy imagining something on the outside.

Great page! THe only thing I have to ask is this: Are you aware that one of Maria's missing one of her shoes in panel 6? In the WIP of this page that you posted yesterday, she had both shoes on. (I have a tendency to notice little details like that). Anyways, aside from that minor detail, this page truly showed Maria's strong side and how much she truly cares about Shadow despite his heritage. If Gerald had witnessed this, I'm sure he'd be proud of her. Too bad I can't say the same for Black Doom, though... If looks could kill, well... you get the point. Overall, awesome page, can't wait for the next one! And keep up the great work with Black Convergance on FanFiction.net!

Oh, sorry! I thought that her left knee was actually her hidden foot for some odd reason (me: I feel like giving a :-P to myself ). And no problem, I enjoy reading fanfics and comics that involve Shadow's past even if Shadow himself has little involvement in the story.
