The thing with this and the other fairies I came up with sometime back in 2012-2013 I think (just assuming as that's when the 1st of them came to be) was that, while in my fic, Prophecy of Darkness, they probably won't make an appearance as they don't really serve any sort of purpose to the story. But, and it's wishful thinking and mainly sort of just doing things because I can, if it was somehow a game (never going to happen, just a 'what if' scenario), these guys would probably serve the same function as the Great Fairies in Majora's Mask.

The scenario I've sort of come up with is that before each dungeon and/or major location (Lost Woods, Death Mountain, etc.), there's a fairy spring where the Great Fairy resides. She says that she'll heal your wounds, but if she had her precious 'music' (as seen here, the Fairy of the Wood has a lyre), she'd be able to give you something much better (a la power-up, increase in magic, strength, etc.) So in each dungeon, you have to go and do the usual shtick, but also look for the Great Fairy's 'music' (ranging from an instrument to even their own voice) that's been taken away by monsters.

It'd probably be hidden away somewhere in which the special item gained there would have to be used to reach it, there would be a mini-boss fight, and you'd get the instrument/musical talent afterwards, of which relates to some part of a fairy (like the lyre here having a part of it fashioned after a wing).

Yeah, like I said, probably won't factor into the story in any way as I don't really think it'd add anything, nor would I sort of know how to fit it in. But still, I'd like to go back to doing these things again. Maybe I can design some items sort of for that 'what if' game that'll never be.

Anyhow, hope you guys like this and that it's better than the last one!
