first 2014 piece! >o<
Just drew this to avoid going mad atm, I have so much work to do I'll be super busy with coursework deadlines till the end of january ;u; I wanted to draw something easy as I've been taking photographs everyday and it's made me really stumped artistically.Β
..I think this is the first piece I've submitted that isn't painfully colourful (but maybe thats what some of you like about my work? O3O )

Thank you! <3 It was quite simple to do, I love drawing sonic characters to relax. They require a lot less effort to draw since I don't need to worry about anatomy as much.

What is an oekaki? A sort of sketch?

yeah pretty much; it just means sketchΒ (but at the same time, it's not a sketch, since it's shaded and sometimes people colour them..) it can refer to a pic done using online software, but oekaki translated literally apparently means "scribble".. so people normally mean a sketchy piece that is more refined than a doodle but messier than an actual work of art.
