Hello everyone! I'm sorry for disappearing from DA for a big chunk of the summer without notice.. you're probably wondering where I've been?

For starters, my boyfriend's sister got married this summer. I was a bridesmaid for the first time and the wedding was in August. It went very well but it was costly for everyone and did take some of my time. The second thing that came up was my school work: I failed another unit in may and had to resubmit it a few weeks ago: it was extremely important and I got quite scared about it, so I ended up backing away from DeviantArt for a while to focus on getting things right as this was my last chance. I still don't know my results, they'll be coming out later on in the week, so I was thinking about posting an update journal as soon as I knew the results but I don't want to keep people waiting on here so I've brought it up today to get it off my chest.
Edit: I passed my unit! I got two B Grades : )

My biggest problem this year has been not telling people when I'm struggling, so my first step towards working on that is to update you all right now instead of hiding my head in the sand like I tend to.

I have been working on commissions, but at a kinda-slow pace so I'm working on picking it up now that I don't have any more other obligations (that I currently know of) until October. Thank you for all of your patience, I have many wips and I'm going to try and get them done as fast as I can so you'll see lots of new work!

Also I'm sorry that I never opened non-chibi commissions over the summer as planned... because of the retake and the wedding I did not want to reopen commissions back in June when I knew I still had commissions to finish. I have fullbody illustrations that are mostly done but I'm still undecided about pricing. I'm going to try to reopen Rocku's treat cafe by the end of this month at the latest, and when I do there will definitely be some new options available.

About this pixel: this will be the new level of detail for pixel page dolls (cake pops) being sold at Rocku's Treat Cafe. They take more time, but the price is going up so I feel the level of detail needs to increase too! I hope you'll be excited for the reopening!Program used: Photoshop CC
