I think Makorra has more chemistry, personally. They purposefully messed up the relationship in season 2. I think Mako doesn't deserve neither Korra, nor Asami, though. He's a good guy at heart, but he's messed with their hearts too much. He needs to grow up a bit, take a break from the dating scene.
Korra and Asami need MEN! Men who can handle them.

Well, i think in book 3 there is going to be little romance and that is great and also Mako his a great guy in my eyes; he is just a victim of love? (I don't know what i am saying xD) I do belive Makorra have amazing chemistry, but not many people see it and i belive they will end up together or hinted about by the end of book 4.
Asami needs to try move on and have some character development to become another strong female character. In book 3, it looks like Korra and Asmai are going to become ever closer friends, which is great in my eyes because to independent women become friends; none can get in their way! (bit like Katara and Toph 
Also, I feel Mike and Bryan are trying to hard to match almost every female charcater up with someone. This makes female character have less idividual development. (Not dissing Mike and Byran Writing because they created ATLA)

Makorra, like all the romance in this show, is horribly written, and they don't fit together at all.

I am a big crazy freak Makorra fan. I hate Masami so much. They look so gross together to me T__T Makorra feels right and they look better to me.
