"Don't Like" β‰  "hate"

I support equal rights. Not feminists.

I.. Can't think of how to word my reasoning without slamming my face into the keyboard.. after all, I'm writing my photography essay :I

Basicly, if it makes any sense.
Some feminists [notice the word SOME] belittle every person with a penis. Some even belittle the women that don't believe what they do. And it is those type, that fucking annoy me.

I can't write that all in a stamp, so you get the tl;dr version.

Maybe I should change it to "Hardcore Feminists" ?

Am I the only one that likes norman as a friend god damnit? :'c

I understand how feminists existed then (And in countries where males and females aren't equal), but why now? In America, United Kingdom, and MANY different countries women and men are all equal. Feminists just complain and complain for their neediness. Irritating as HELL.Β

Well put. I find it hilarious how some feminists try to pretend they don't need a man when in reality they practically need/desire a gigantic dick placed in them to just prove then otherwise. I fully support women's rights, hate feminists.

Feminism is really stupid. Like what fancynessftw said, women get mostly equal rights now. Feminists usually call something "sexist" and "mysogynistic" just to appeal to their own selfish needs. They're using the fact that women have hardly been treated well in history (note the word "history") just to get whatever the hell they want.Β

Also, I feel like this is relevant, but most feminists I've ever seen in my life preach shit like, "OH YEAH WELL I CAN HIT MEN BECAUSE GIRL POWER!" Fucking really? I don't want to hit anybody, and nobody should be hitting anybody, but if someone comes up to me with the intention to hit me, I don't care about their gender, I'm going to hit them back. In fact, women are protected by the law if men hit them. Actually, scratch that. EVERYBODY is protected by the law if anybody hits them. I don't see what feminists are bawling about.

i don't understand the point of feminism! we mostly have equal rights now! and of course different genders do different things better, its a fact no matter how much you deny it. for example, a woman cant really be a fireman and lift a grown man, just like a man cant be a house-husband as much because men don't like to show emotion.

and i do not mean ALL men or ALL women i understand some women can be strong and some men can be delicate but they should have to prove themselves that they can do it before they do those things and not just be able to because its 'equal'

Feminism runs equality. The reason why it's called FEMinism is because women didn't have the same rights as men back then... We rose.

We are definitely not all equal. Go to the east and see how's it going with the women... And I feel like I'm a little feminist inside because I just don't want any man to subject me because I was born a female, ever!

I know it's unfair. But you should not be subjected because of your sex or gender or anything else.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EverLastingLuv In reply to Hakudoushii [2014-06-10 17:08:11 +0000 UTC]

No. Feminism is focusing on rights for only women. It's not equal rights for both sexes if that's what you mean.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hakudoushii In reply to EverLastingLuv [2014-10-05 22:28:36 +0000 UTC]

It is by definition equality for both genders

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EverLastingLuv In reply to Hakudoushii [2014-10-07 09:09:17 +0000 UTC]

No. The definition is "Advocacy for women's rights". The definition and meaning is in the word feminist itself.
femin- means "woman hood"Β
-ism or -ist means "to focus on"
Put the two together and you've got "Focusing on women". Pay attention in your high school English class and you'd know that.Β
Plus actions speak way louder than words. Tell me, what did feminism EVER do for men other than accuse them of being sexually deviant, misogynistic, raping pigs? What have feminists ever done for the female on male/male on male rape victims? I'll tell you what...nothing. What sort of concern have feminists shown for men who are abused by their wives? "Oh well he had what was coming to him, obviously."Β
What action did women take towards men being forced to sign up for the draft? Where's the awareness for prostate cancer? Where's the worry about men having the highest suicide rate and homeless rate in the country? Where's the concern for men taking longer prison sentences than woman for the same exact crime? Or fathers who are less likely to get custody of their children because they're viewed as "violent" and unable to raise children?Β
Feminism won't do shit for men unless it somehow helps women.Β
Not only that, but I'm a woman, and if you feminists support me so fucking much, why do you always call me "uneducated", "ignorant", and "a stupid bitch"? Why are feminists so against women choosing to stay at home instead of work? Why do you silence the women who don't mind being sexy for their man? Feminists won't support you unless you're one of them. That's the bottom line.
While you sit behind your computer in your nice warm room, you're "fellow sisters" are breaking the law by damaging property at Men's Right's meetings and yelling in those poor men's faces, calling them every name in the book. Not only that, but there was a hashtag campaign on Twitter created by feminists that said the following....
#KillAllMen
That's right...kill. How is that equality?
Now before you go off and accuse me of being "uneducated" and "and ignorant bitch", I'll let you know exactly why I'm not a feminist.

I don't want to be a part of a group where they constantly paint me as a victim. I don't want a bunch of women telling me that I'm not safe anywhere and I shouldn't trust anyone who is male, that I'm a precious, vulnerable little flower. I hate your perpetual victim hood. I'm not weak because I'm a woman. I'm not vulnerable. I don't want my son to be taught not to rape, instead of my daughter learning to defend herself. But somehow self defense is looked down upon. The reality is, you can't change assholes. And feminists are trying to label every single man and group them into their sick, dark, and twisted stereotype.Β
Which brings me to why you are all hypocrites. You go around saying all men are potential rapists and calling them misogynistic pigs and telling women everywhere that they're the cause of violence. Plus you're telling anti-feminist women like me that we're "uneducated", "stupid", and "ignorant". But then when you're grouped into a stereotype of feminists, you flip shit and say "not all feminists are like that!" or my personal favorite "They aren't real feminists!"Β

So tell me again....are feminists really for equality, or do they want men to "repay" for what they've done? If you are really for equality, you'd call out the radical feminists and tell them that what they say and do is wrong. But no. You make up excuses.Β
If you were really for equality, you'd focus and raise awareness for men's issues instead of attack, belittle, threaten, and physically harm people of the MRA.

But no. You can't possibly do thatΒ because you have to be the only victim in society right?

Before you tell anybody the definition of Feminism, take a look first what actions feminists have taken and the damage it has caused for men everywhere.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Penamesolen [2011-09-13 06:48:36 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, I always thought of feminism as "the idea that both sexes have the same right, and both have it just as difficult as they have it easy". Like, the idea that house wives should get paid once a month in my country (yes, it was discussed), feminists I talked to said they would rather it not to happen, because not only might that encourage potential futures for some women, but it DIDN'T include HOUSEMEN, which we have some of, too. the reason is because most Norwegians view "staying at home" as "not having a job", and therefore it is the other partner's job to get the money. Also the idea of maternity leave is something my friends want changed, since it only includes the mother and not the father.

Um, basically, what I meant is that I think "normal" feminists just want males and females to have equal rights, while "hardcore" feminists, or "feminazi"s as Internet have meme'd them, hate men and think the female should be the superior to all. So yeah, I agree with you maybe changing the stamp.

I get called a feminazi because I'll sometimes rant about how men get higher pay and how women are portrayed as little more than sex toys in ads No. I just believe in gender equality, and not being viewed as a masturbation aid wherever I go

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

j00ed In reply to grievousfan [2011-09-13 14:08:46 +0000 UTC]

Males are viewed as masturbation aid surprisingly often too, by the way. I mean, one only needs to glance briefly over the Radcliffe / Pattinson / insert-rock-band-singer-here fangirls to see how "deeply" they think of their "inner personalities." Hint: only as deeply as they can penetrate other sexy males' shitholes (or the other way around).

Of course, popular media still focuses on females mostly, but one could argue that's a combination of poor marketing, homophobia, and an overall social stigma against male models in general.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

grievousfan In reply to j00ed [2011-09-13 22:48:31 +0000 UTC]

Pfff--

That's my problem with it They focus on dehumanizing women a lot more often than they dehumanize male models.
Poor marketing: yeah, because you have to show a naked girl before people will so much as LOOK at your product
Homophobia: How do they think all the straight women feel? I don't want to be looking at some skank every time I turn on my TV
