In my final digital painting before Inheritance is released, I drew the three "heroes" of the series: (left to right) Murtagh, Eragon, and Roran (who has an appallingly low amount of fanart despite his importance). Against the moon, there's Thorn and Saphira, whether they're fighting or flying, I'll leave it to you to decide.
And, I went crazy with the effects, but it was fun

I guess so, since I based them on dogs. I confused myself while drawing them because they reminded me of these budgies I saw playing on Animal Planet.

I wonder that too, but I kinda think that would be a little cruel. I tried to give him a sort of yellow 'aura' in this one, since that's the color I associate him with.

I've always thought Arya, but I have a feeling the egg will be saved and the rider will be someone unfamiliar revealed in the epilogue, like someone's kid or something.
