Rebecca (N&W 578, a locomotive I know well) turns 109 tomorrow, and as is expected of me, I have to draw something. This is how she would have appeared in May 1910, in service on the Norfolk and Western's long distance passenger trains, probably hauling a few well varnished Pullman coaches.She would have been very advanced for the time, probably being one of the first locos to come with an electric headlight straight from the factory.
