"Ah, Parcel train, hurrah! Where's it to, driver?" Cried C1 that morning. She was excited to pull a mail train, it was fitted, and the vans wouldn't push her around like the normal trucks, vans, and wagons.
"Southampton, it's ocean mail. Now come along!" Replied her engine driver. An hour or so later, they arrived at the Southern's giant dockyard, and C1 remembered what happened last time.
'O-okay... Keep your pressure down, don't want to offend any more ships... Ohhh...' She thought, rolling down the quayside, wheels grinding and biting into the tight dock rails with a painful squeal. Sea breezes calmy whistled around her jacketing, and swirled her smoke up high. They'd just come to a stop, when C1 was startled by loud coughing, and let off a hiss of steam in surprise.
