Sorry I haven't submitted anything in a while, been busy with class, still being sick, and being a little low on inspiration. :/O_O New pokemon! And I'm still in shock about it. There are a bunch of new favorites for me but at the same time the ones that are bad...are REAAALLY bad. Ice cream? Fighting clowns? Cloud people trio?
Anyway....here's one of my favorites
I've wanted a lamprey based pokemon for a long time and I like the design although I'm not sure why they felt the need to give it arms *shrug* They should have made a Hagfish pokemon and had each be version exclusives because Hagfish and Lampreys are the only two living species of jawless fish. I also really love the centipede, purple panther, evolved zebra, anteater, electric tarantula, fire moth and fighting rodent!!

I'm not really sure what they were smoking when they designed a lot of the new ones, but at least some of them are good, such as this one and bachuru/joltik and denchura/galvantula.
It makes me think, however, that they should introduce the ability to have three types, since not all of the water-type-like pokemon in B&W....actually are water types. XD Thus leaving people who want a water pokemon for their B&W team out of luck. xD

Amazing!! I love the lighting and the gorgeous texture work!! I agree, Shibirudon is one of my favorite fifth gen Pokemon. The concept came out nice, and I always have one in my party~

ah, do you mind if I name my Shibiudon/Eelektross after you, cause just by drawing this picture you helped me to decide to choose this electric type over the electric zebra so I figured it be a nice way to celebrate the 'getting-over-my-indecisive-moment'...sorry if this sounds silly...but I am ^^'

A little bit of a late favourite here.
Definately a badass interpretation of Eelektross/Shibirudon. I love all the little details put into it and the lighting effect looks very natural. Love it a lot!

I LOVE THIS! I was so excited when they came out with a Lamprey based pokemon myself. I also agree that I just LOVE Lepardas (Purple Panther), Pendra (Centipede), Denchura (Electric tarantula), and Ulgamoth (Fire moth). Their some of my personal favorites as well but Shibirudon is my all time favorite. Much love to you for doing this

.....this has single handedly made it certain that i will have this pokemon on my team in the new game, also since its a lamprey pokemon, how come its not a water type too, that never made any sense to me

i like his typing due to his abilities, but i think that a water typing should be justified seeing as he's part electric eel, part lamprey. BOTH FISH>

God, the texture is freaking amazing! How the heck do you pull that off?!
Thanks! ^_^ the texture is a layer onto of everything made up of dots which I made just by adjusting the "scatter" option in the brushes then I set the layer type from normal to some sort of overlay, I forget what exactly, and that was about it. Really easy to do but it looks great.

The centipede is one of my favorites as well. I don't think I've ever been so excited for one of the early bugs in the game before! XD;

Which one is the fighting clown? Zuruzukin? It's based on the Japanese Yankii (or thug), I hated it too until I learned the origin of it's design and used it. It helped me beat the Elite Four.
I hate the cloud Trio, they look exactly the same, what a waste.

Dotekotsu is the one that makes me think of a clown, big red nose and weird puffy head/hair? I guess it's not particularly clown like but that's how it first struck me when I saw it. I thought Zuruzukin was ugly at first, I still dislike his crest, it should have been more like a frilled lizard! But I actually fine with his looks by now and like his design's origins. Yeah cloud Trio...*sigh*...-_- they better have a VERY good back story!
