John Buechler was a well known special makeup effects artist who contributed his noteworthy talents to such film as Hatchet, Halloween 4, Nightmare on Elm Street 4, Troll and From Beyond. He was also a producer, actor, writer and director who freshened up the long running series Friday the 13th series with the aptly title "New Blood" which was the 7th in the series of film.
