Oh, this is just so striking! I love the simple use of black on off-white, and the contrasts between the dark, sharply defined shadowed areas with the hazy background. The gesture of the figure is most stunning though; there's so much feeling there: loneliness and solitude, as well as the simple contentment of sitting in a field of grass feeding the birds.

lol birds. This reminds of the art show we just had in our district. My friend created this amazing four foot tall peacock sculpture on a stand with leaves all out of wire, soda cans, and glue. another person created a small finch-like bird. She used like 8lbs of glue and it was about 1 foot tall. Anyway, the peacock didn't win anything and the small finch like bird won first place. According to the judges "the peacock was to busy" and "they should have only used one type of soda can". however; the finch got comments like "i know what kind of bird it is" and "it's conveys a message".
Okay back to the point, this is seriously AMAZING! From a fellow artist, you have true talent!
