Description Remember this page froma while back? [link] well this one is from the same collection... actually this page is pretty bad for this height of The 1001, but, who cares, I'll make it short. I think it has something to do with the level of detail I can use to make "normal" creatures, its not like I can load them with scars, sigils, or weird armours, they're just animals, and I have to keep them simple and that is reflected on the descriptions, they do not have a storyline or a gameplay style to talk about. I'm still with the small predators, but from different planets.

835) Earthmole: Hunter from a deadsky planet. Its like a combination of a mole and an earthworm with that weird tongue to catch earthworm-like creatures. Like most creatures of its planet it has its eyes covered with skin, showing that its planet surface was once safe for life.

836) Cubitonychus: From a dark cave planet comes the blind Cubitonychus... wich is a large flightless carnivorous bat that would kill you.
Because I love things that can kill you.

837) Chromoanguilus: The small predator from a reef planet. You can all see what it is, basically some kind of moray eel with which it shares its lifestyle. I gave it some lionfish fins to give some additional coral reef feeling.

838) Forked nosed shark: This predator from an oceanic planet is certainly very near to a normal shark, I changed the tail and gave it to personal features in general, since its not a copy of any actual shark. The model is inspired in the blue shark, but it would be probably brown with darker marks.

839) Lutrinemorph: The big bad... otter from a river planet. It is like one of those giant otters from the amazon, but combined with a leopard seal. So, yea, its a vicious creature.

840) Carnocaprid: A carnivore evolved from goat-like herbivore creatures. As you might have guessed it comes from a mountain planet, those giant nostrils are made to gather as much air as possible in the thin atmosphere.

841) Rockleaper: (bottom left) From as compactly shatered planet, in which creatures can leap from one orbiting rock to the other, probably it has also some really weird atmosphere... or hollow rocks with weird gases inside, I don't know. This is why most animals here are gliders so they can move from a rock to the other.

842) Stingwing: Birds or animals extremely similar to them evolved into ever-flying creatures in a sky planet. It's beak has evolved into a harpoon like weapon to pierce its prey and its legs have lost their function and shape and are now like the claws of a mantis.

843) Windsquid: It has nothing to do with a squid or with any creature that ever lived on earth, its just a regular predator living in a star orbit feeding on other creatures in the same situation, probably around burning planet or whaterver. There is no good logical reason to have living beings there anyway.

I noticed that, for your eel-lionfish hybrid, you used the suffix 'chromo' as in 'color'. Why is that? Does it shift or morph, or is it merely the poisonous coloration likely lent from the clownfish? Also, what does 'anguilus' mean?
And.. how big is he? You said small and a reef dweller, but well, he just looks like he'd be so BIG. x3 Sorry for the questions, but I'm curious.

On another note, I love how you pose things. Very dramatic and interesting, like it has life and movement.

It's just a colorful creature I guess. I don't remember if looked it up or anything or just made the anguilus up, but anguila is eel in spanish.
I don't think it's any larger than a regular moray eel.

And thanks fo the comment.

These are all really awesome ... hard to choose. I think my favorites are the 2 leftmost and the bottom 2 rightmost.

All so different and strange. I like the windsquid. Looks like an abstract sculpture!
