A new fan-art poster for an event based around diversity in science fiction.
At first I sketched something completely different. My first reaction when depicting an action-adventure series was to do the most dynamic scene possible; characters facing at the viewer, wielding their coolest weapons, poised for action... then I thought... Darn, this is not the spirit of the show (or the event) at all.
At the end of the day, those fighting the good fight do everything just for the hope of a better tomorrow alongside their allies and those they protect. Heartfelt media surrounding that subject should invite the consumer to share that with the characters it depicts.
I personally didn't quite _love_ SWR, event though I saw the whole thing, but it that regard it carried it's idea with noble intent.
