Description
This is the rendering of a pool-side chair I designed. It is supposed to be made out of bent and polished colored acrylic with aluminum handrests and frame. I dunno how practical it would be in real life, though, since the bare acrylic would scratch rather easily. Anyway, hope you guys like it.Render time: ca. 6.5 hours @ 3200x2400 px.
Software: 3ds Max 8, Mental Ray 3.4, Photoshop CS2

There is a lounge similar to yours, but not as appealing, made by Dornbracht. It's a bright orange if I remember correctly.

I like the yellow to red transition...you can tell it is acrylic without even saying it.

En fin, el acrílico aguantaría bastante si le pusieran algún plástico para envolverla. El unico detalle es que la silla no debe ser dura por la comodidad del usuario.

Diserto!, uhm,... el confort no se logra con suavidad necesariamente, recordemos que esto, así como la dureza solo es parte de la sensación de comodidad que se le quiera brindar al usuario. Por lo que no debes desestimar el uso del mero acrílico.
Por otra parte... el acrílico si que le resiste man,... solo se le tiene que dar algo de grosor, que por lo pronto me parece apropiado, la estructura de aluminio me aparece más que apropiado para resistir cualqueir embate de dicho material...
