I was still high school when this song came out, and all the guys were talking how cool Slash was. When i read in wikipedia about the song "November Rain" , Slash was actually supposed to do his solo guitar in a field or something (not in front of a church in the dessert) but there weren't any field with enough grass because it was winter, so they ended up with that shot...so my interpretation ...if they did it in a field... plus rain...

This is AWESOME! I imagine the wind suddenly picks up when he starts rocking, and the rain is coming down hard now. By the guitar solo, do you mean that awesome part at the end? Or is there an earlier one? (been a few months since I last heard November rain) Anyways...Rock on!
