Your work is usually fantastic but I feel this one is a bit below par for what you usually do and its all in the composition of the clouds; its a bit messy and ruins the scale of the ship - and some bits of the secondary hull seem to be missing because of how abruptly the clouds and sky cut into it.

I like the way you have some clouds blocking out bits of the saucer, but it doesn't really work and I'd say it'd look stunning with some more fading towards the nacelles and pylons; again for scaling issues.

I'm a huge fan of your work and am only pointing this stuff out as an attempt at constructive criticism.

I love it!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry to impose, but are you able to convert this model from the cinema4d format to the lightwave format, or something that could be used in Poser?

Thanka...... so beautiful.Β

Dude. This SO looks like heaven. You should do a version where there's a heavenly palace and golden gates in those clouds in the background. Like they just dropped off Nimoy!
Gorgeous work.

The Enterprise now completed lifts off from the Riverside shipyard to begin exploring strange new worlds.

due to the lack of battle damage, we can't talk about sacrifice yet.

Nice lighting! The integration with the background image isnt perfect. And the ship itself could have more detail.

I think that's a great image. Why aren't you happy with it?

I definitely wouldn't want to be an in airplane and see the Enterprise this close. lol

I agree with Tu49 that this image suggests the classic ST episode "Tomorrow is Yesterday".

So I'd suggest placing the Enterprise above the clouds, and a F-104C in the classic USAF natural metal with white painted wings in the foreground below the clouds.

To Boldly Go Where No Man has Gone Before.Β

Out of the Star Trek universe the NCC-1701 USS Enterprise is my favorite Starship. And if the Enterprise were to have a nickname it would probably be either the Lucky 'E' or the 'Immortal Enterprise'Β since She has been rebuilt many times throughout Her long and proud history that dates back to 1705 with the commissioning of the French sixth-rate frigateΒ L'Entreprise, to theΒ H.M.S. Enterprise, then the 1799Β Schooner and Brig Class, 1831 Schooner-Class, 1874 Barque-rigged and Screw sloop, the Yorktown class CV-6 USS Enterprise, Enterprise-class CVN-65 USS Enterprise, and 2025 Gerald R. Ford-class CVN-80 USS Enterprise.

Very nice.
Curious, the nacelles and deflector dish look pre-refit and the saucer looks somewhat post-refit.
Makes for an interesting contrast, like maybe Starfleet were prototyping some ideas.

Beautiful all the same.

The concept is nice, but there is a problem with the clouds that touch the spaceship. Clouds bend outward and take the shape of the object that moves through it or inward when pushed with engine thrust. The clouds here does not seem to be engaging with the spaceship body, the rest is ok.Β
