A little sunset walk on the beach and I am greeted by a flurry of activity. Little living objects darting across the sand - Ghost crabs. They a semiterrestrial creatures, inhabiting deep burrow in the tide and generally scavenging the beach. Their generally pale coloration and nocturnal instincts camouflages well with the surroundings and assist in being great predators of small animals.
