Fusion between Apatite and Cherry Opal (ignore the fact that this fusion goes off of Cherry's new design, even though she didn't change until after Apatite had left, and would have only fused when the old design was present)

Apatite and Cherry had a secret love affair that lasted about 250 years (as you all probably know by now) one of the biggest secrets they kept was not only their secret sexual encounters, but the existence of their fusion during a time when hybrid gem fusions were illegal on Homeworld. Lepidolite was formed during one of these encounters, and during a moment of emotional climax came into existence. Her form was a mess of colors and patterns, much like any fusion of gems not expecting to fuse for the first time, as they would try to fuse a couple times more in order to try things out and experience new things. Her form had no consistency for a few years, until finally she took on the form you see now. Primarily her existence was kept in secret, and the only thing they could do with it was to experiment new ways to please themselves and whatnot. Occasionally they would also hook up with other Opals to play around, as it was the only way for Lepidolite to socialize with other gems in secret. What they learned through Lepidolite was that she not only offered new positions and activities, but she also brought about deeper feelings of love and desire in both Apatite and Cherry. Apatite has a deep desire to be loved, and sometimes when she is unable to get that, she resorts to seeking out sexual encounters. Cherry desires to have a partner that she can keep with her for as long as she lives, but due to her previous wives having been lost in the war, she pampers every partner she has. Both gems seek out ways to fill a void in their hearts, one that Lepidolite seems capable of filling. Sadly enough, Lepidolite only existed within the time frame of the 250 year love affair, and has not come into existence ever since.
