Description From my trip to England 2 weeks ago now.
Silvia demanded me to upload the little doodles I made, so I animated a few segments with it to make it more upload worthy and stuff.

Starring me, , , , , , , and . And featering but his little sketch was cut, wasn't really funny.
I'm not to much in my element with these "me and my friends" sitcomish situation jokes.

I only know of Arnold's most popular movies like Predator and Terminator, but I haven't seen anything else.

I think it might just be that part of England with the 'terminated trains'. I live in England and they always say where you go next where I live.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rogerregorroger In reply to JessamineDiane [2010-12-20 00:25:22 +0000 UTC]

Well yeah, but the terminate is for when you get to the final stop.
perhaps you never been to a final stop before.

One thing I can't understand in comics is that everything is almost dead serious now and there's a HUGE rise in the zombie franchise, there's an even anime called High School Of The Dead now and I just watched that yesterday in my anime club today. I HATE zombies, unless they're smart and normal, I hate them with a passion and isn't the Blackest Night another somewhat zombie comic too. It's really annoying that I see more zombie comics than I do normal comics. *sigh*

Rogerregorroger In reply to Guilrel [2010-08-30 08:53:22 +0000 UTC]

amen to that.
Zombies are boring. Unless as canonfodder like in house of the dead.

Hah summed up the London experience perfectly there I must admit ; ] espically the whole Taxcomicnerdguy thing, hmm never considered if he was like the real life version of Porno Mole man he was pretty huge : s and .. fat. But man it's kind of scary to see the real me in animated form.. I mean look at me, I'm almost the same height as Luke there D: terrifying!

It's a shame I never got to steal that lil doodle you made for me, I friggin' LOVED that thing! looked super awesome to see it face to face! Still feel guilty I didn't draw everything for everyone on the day : (

Funnily enough my bus was 'Terminated' on the way back after I left you guys : B wonder if Arnie was getting his vengance on me after me and Luke dissed him

That scene with Stacey was PERFECT! If I brought any drawings with me I probably would have been ashamed to show them after seeing her stuff, oh god D'; I haven't drawn the same since then! Oh the shame!

And I thought I was the only person that did 'duh' impressions when you pause a video : B epic to know I'm not alone there! Anyhow great lil flash of your chronicles in England!

Rogerregorroger In reply to ZoDy [2010-08-01 06:31:05 +0000 UTC]

good to know you escaped the train just in time before it was completely terminated then.

I guess we must take Stacey's example to become even better in the future. Don't be ashamed, be a legend!

Haha, that's a great way of keeping those good memories alive.
...could've added numbers for the pictures/animations each though

1 - First of all, great work with the shadings!
Furthermore, - Eh? Zody and ... new Zody in the same picture? How can this be?!

2 - GASP! He actually eats an icecream!
That's stuff of legend that can only happen on meetings like that.

3 - Nice picture of Luke, looks like he's just on a casual killing spree here, nothing serious or stressfull

5 - Heh, yeah. It's funny how Zody has a better fake German accent then I do, even though I'm from Germany.

6 - Huh! Didn't know that Ginny was keeping large animals in her pants too!
Guess that's based on "cartoon physics" and the classic "game character can fit hundreds of objects in his pocket".

7 - Guess that's the real life equivalent of spam posting on MSN.

8 - Ah, stupid pop up ads.

9 - Gagaman and his girlfriend being crazy .... while apparently being either starred at or purposefully ignored by other people in the background. Yay, "normal" people.

10 - Haha, that's a good one

11 - Heh, poison instead of just posing.

12 - Why couldn't he just keep in costume all the time then?

13 - Looks a lot more like Luc to me.
Mostly cause of the cap.

14 - First thought this was some strange drawing of Hhog.

16 - Cool pose!
Heh, yeah, and the wind only comes from a small ventilator.
Nice juxtaposition. ^^

17 - again, nice. : )
ah, didn't know he voices the Major.

fun fact:
I only got to know Dr. Who because of Euan posting about it and it being mentioned in IMP at some point.
Heh, real luck, would have completelly missed the show airing on TV over here - completelly without any promotion or advertisement at all, shame - if it wasn't for the fact that I knew what "Doctor Who" actually ment.
From the name I would've thought it was either a kid's show about teaching "who's who" or "who does what", or a sitcom about a chinese doctor.

18 - DUH

19 - heh, cat vs dog, makes sense.

21 - yay, adventure!

22 - heh
Well, from checking out her gallery at first glance, she has some neat art there.
Of course, it's not fair comparing sketches made on the train with something that hours were spend on prior to the meeting

That's why I've been taking a bunch of printouts and digital camera film-off-the-monitor - clips from some of my flash and hacking vids with me for both devMeets I had attended so far

I would probably fail miserably at sketching live, unless I was using my tablet of course
Haven't tried pen & paper since ... whenever the last submission was I made using pen & paper.
Can't cope with the lack of basic features like copy/paste, undo, and stuff.

Anyway, sounds like you guys & gals had heaps of fun!
Hope I can join in on the fun one day.
But that'll probably take a few more years

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rogerregorroger In reply to UltraTheHedgetoaster [2010-07-31 16:07:40 +0000 UTC]

take a few years? It's not that hard. and maybe ill go to Berlin some day myself.

Danbuster couldn't stay in Sherlock Holmes character all the time because he needs glasses to look around and his character can't. ANd most people didn't want to wear silly costumes in public when not necesairy.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

UltraTheHedgetoaster In reply to Rogerregorroger [2010-08-12 00:11:06 +0000 UTC]

nah, it's just that at this point in life I haven't got a clue when I'll have the time for this
Finish diploma thesis ... get a job ... stay on the job ... and also, update my international travel-pass, it's no longer valid

Also, I admittedly have never been out of the country on my own, so I guess there's a few things I should think through first when setting out on a quest.
Plus, I've only been on a plane once, when I was 3 years old.
And I must admit I kinda don't wanna go on my first fight with airport security and in-flight safety procedures on my own.

Though I'll see if I can make it at least to the Netherlands some day in the future.
Oddly enough, there even was someone from the Netherlands attending last Saturday's devMeet in Berlin.
And seems he/she(?) only had to pay around a 100€ ...?
That's actually cheaper than I had expected!

Rogerregorroger In reply to UltraTheHedgetoaster [2010-08-12 06:28:16 +0000 UTC]

we could always meet up somewhere in between, so you don't have to go Quite to the Netherlands and I don't have to go Quite to the absolute center of germany, but we go to Hannover or Bremen.
