Nicely executed entry! I like the figure but the background rocks and lighting are my favourite part, they are painted very nicely. I feel like the forest itself is a little bit too sharp and also sends conflicting messages in terms of scale. One does have to be careful with adding characters into environment concepts, to make sure that they don't take up too much focus. I think your character is key to your stated concept, but perhaps a primary focal point in the landscape itself could have skewed this more towards an environment design, than an illustration. I would have loved to see a piece that had more of the background and midground mountains as a vista stretching off into the distance, with forests interspersed like islands or something in between. That would be something
