till this day i still cant figure out how to color on a real paper. what color pen are you using? im considering buying one but the brand around here is cheap and took a long time to dry up, which is bad considering how clumsy and noisy my hand gets when drawing

for sketching i normally use lightweight mechanical pencils (For me the weight really makes a difference >.<), for lining i use fine tip sharpie pens, and for coloring i use copics. (copics can be pretty expensive, but if you just need basic colors and dont need to blend, then sharpies work pretty well too)  i also have a bunch of gel pens around for the whit highlights, and i use the metallic sharpies to do piercings and jewelry :3
As far as shaky hands go, i normally take a very long time to sketch things out so i can get my lines perfect. I normally do a bunch of quick flicking motions to make sure my rounded lines look the way i want.\
When lining, i normally dont worry about it too much, because the sharpie pens are so thin that i can normally just go over it again later to touch it up, so i normally go pretty quick on long/curved lines, but i slow down when doing details.
Trust me, it takes a lot of practice,  ive practically be drawing since i could hold a pencil and ive done a ton of research into art supplies and how to use them lol
Hopefully this helps ^^

oh yeah ive heard of copics, yeah theyre pretty expensive, especially shipping them to my country
I bought a tablet just so i dont have to draw on paper, because ive been told i put too much pressure on the paper that makes the paper wrinkly, but i'll try practice using a coloring pen when i'm bored or something. But i dont think that i'll be fit for drawing on paper since im used to the "undo" button that i sometimes forgot when i sketching i automatically reached for the undo button while drawing on paper

yeah ive don that before after i do a lot of digital art lol
Maybe try to practice with colored pencils and sharpies as well? Thats what i started with, and colored pencils are really good for practicing shading in my experience ^^

okay maybe i'll try with the sharpie but i only have red, black and green color laying around so lol. I am not really good with colored pencil, filling the whole thing seems like too much work and i always get bored halfway and abandon ship to watch youtube video

Ooooh
These colors and the desiiiign, this is so sleeeeek
Only thing I notice is the line variation. It's not bad, especially not the transition from thin lines at points in the head not facing the viewer to thick lines closer to the viewer. But then the lines are just all thick at the body and that just gets to me
Still a wonderful piece though :3

thank you omg <3
yeah i kinda screwed up a bit on the body, i normally re outline everything after i color, but i had a few areas where i messed up coloring that i wanted to cover up so i didn't do much variation on the body >.<
